Product Description

The Power Hero VTR1000 is a 700 Watt Step-down Voltage Transformer. It is used in the UK or other 220-240V country to power electrical equipment from the USA, Canada or Japan, or other countries where the voltage is 100 - 120V.

The output is pure AC and the voltage transformer can be used with all appliances rated 0 - 700W.

The step down voltage transformer can be used for long periods of time if the load is quite low (350W or less). used near its maximum of 700W the transformer is fine for fairly short periods of time. However it may over-heat and reset itself, causing the safety cut-out circuit breaker to operate and switch the transformer off if it is used for too long near its maximum. It is good practice to always allow margin for error and to account for voltage surges.

This Power Hero step down voltage transformer connects to the mains via the rear connection (power lead supplied). The output is delivered by the the adjacent US power socket. This socket is designed to accept US, Japanese or Canadian style plugs. It can manage a maximum of 700 Watts. You can use power adapters to plug more than one item into it, but you must ensure the total combined wattage does not exceed the voltage transformer's capacity.
